Alana Beard is Co-Founder and Chief Basketball Officer of Project B, where she leads the vision and strategy for the basketball product across player development, competition, and talent. A 15-year WNBA veteran, Beard is one of the most accomplished players of her generation.
During her professional career, Beard was a WNBA champion, two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year, multiple-time All-Star, Olympic gold medalist, NCAA champion at Duke University, and was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. She is widely respected for her leadership, competitive excellence, and commitment to advancing the game.
At Project B, Beard is applying her experience as an elite athlete to build a player-first basketball model that delivers world-class competition, develops the next generation of global stars, and elevates the experience for athletes on and off the court.
